Spaying

Spaying is the surgical procedure of removing the ovaries and uterus of a female animal therefore preventing pregnancy and helping control the pet population. The procedure can help your dog and/or cat live a longer, healthier life. By spaying your female pet, you are protecting her against potentially deadly diseases, including bacterial infections, reproductive tract diseases, and several types of cancer. The animal must be at least 6 months of age for this procedure.

Dr. Ashley Thorson performs spays on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s. Typically, pets are dropped off first thing in the morning and picked up between 3:30 and 4:30 the same day.
